Queen Charlotte Lodge is very pleased to host Retired Sergeant Damon Coates, his wife Tammy and son Jered this week. Damon is retired from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office where he was the Public Liason officer. Sargeant Coates suffered a severe gunshot injury in the line of duty in 2003 which may have slowed him down a bit but has not diminished his great love of fishing. Damon, Tammy and Jered are fishing with veteran QCL guide Ryan Ashton and enjoying quite favourable fishing conditions this week. They've kept busy playing some beautiful northern Coho and Halibut so today they're targeting Chinook. Ryan's got plenty of tricks up his sleeve so we're confident Damon will get to tackle some of those great fish today! We'll keep you posted! |
