 Thursday was the best day yet on the water for Damon, Tammy & Jered. Ryan loaded them right back out to Green Point where yesterday they met with considerable success. While the Coho action was similar to Wednesday's, it was the Chinook salmon that got their attention today. Jered boated a nice Spring of 24 pounds, Damon's turn at the rod yielded a chunky 10 pounder and Tammy landed a chrome bright 27 pound Chinook, definitely a highlight of the trip. The water at Green had a fair chop to it so these fish put up quite a battle. All in all the Coates' had a very full few days up here at QCL, surrounded by lots of friends. It was a great pleasure for us to have them with us and all the staff and management here at QCL wish Damon and Tammy and their family the very best in the years to come. We very much look forward to their return. |
